Blackout
including a 9 inning, 2 hit gem against Boston today the Sawx sure could have used Jason Bay today.
CrazyCarl40
You keep saying the same thing over and over and over again and it doesn't make you any less wrong. The Red Sox offense is fine. It is one of the best in the league going by the numbers. Jason Bay would not have made any difference in an 11-0 game. He is being outhomered by Rod Barajas in an inferior league. The Red Sox have 10 players with more homers and 7 players with more RBIs. Stop with the foolishness.
SenorGato
The Red Sox need a bat.
CrazyCarl40
The Red Sox need a bat. You're right. They need Ellsbury back. Other than that, they're fine. Wonder where else you would fit a bat? Wonder who is available that you would put into the line-up and where.

Blackout
by the way Carl Bay's OPS+ of 115 is much better than Darnell Mcdonald or Mike Cameron's OPS+'s. HR's are not an accurate measure of success unless we're talking Bonds or Mcgwire
Blackout
Went for a second opinion on his broken ribs. Haven't read or heard anything about that yet. he's been on my fantasy team's DL list forever it seems...sitting beside Carlos Beltran

Matt39
The Sox might be better than the Yankees at promoting their overrated farm talent. Remember when Masterson was the next Koufax?

Matt39
No. Poor memory then. The Masterson hype was absurd. "No use for Papelbon anymore"
Thor99
Poor memory then. The Masterson hype was absurd. "No use for Papelbon anymore" You're imagining things. Much like Kason Gabbard, the Sox capitalized on a couple of good starts and sold high. Masterson was never considered an elite prospect.
