He lost a team leader, and wanted to bring in a "tride and true" Jet (and some of us would argue that point, I know). It was dumb. It shows that the Jets either weren't nimble enough to do something valuable with that roster spot, or they were so over-confident that they thought they could waste it on a "feel good" move. Whatever. If they wanted to bring a "true Jet" they should have signed Chrebet for the night. He could have been as effective as an inactive as Coles was any day.
