Kleckineau
NYJ are the true peoples choice. Woody is eating Krafts lunch. When Brady and Belicheck are gone and the NEP are 5-11, Gillette will be a ghost town like Foxboro used to be.
Scott Dierking
Just sayin' What matters in the media is not TOTAL viewers, but share and rating. Rating= % of overall homes watching Share= % of household sets on. Something like that. Just factin.

Vudu
Jets-Patriots was the most watched Divisional Round game ever Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 17, 2011, 4:09 PM EST Sunday evening’s Jets-Patriots game wasn’t always pretty, but it was always compelling. And now it was the most-watched NFL Divisional Round playoff game ever. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy says that Jets-Patriots averaged 43.5 million viewers. Like I said last week, it’s almost surprising at this point when NFL games don’t break records. Still, the numbers from Sunday are remarkable. The second most-watched Divisional Round game was Dallas-Carolina in 1997. Third place was Kansas City-Houston in 1994. For years, the goal in broadcast television has been to limit ratings decline. The NFL alone shows that ratings growth is still possible, as long as the NFL owners and players don’t screw it up.

Vudu
2nd highest rating ever in Divisional round. 43 million people watched up trump the Pats, which is good for the MOST WATCHED GAME! **** the Network rating bullsh*t, thats for Network executives to deal with. Our game was THE MOST WATCHED! I dont understand the nit picking. Just enjoy the fact that the JETS are destroying the ratings everytime we're on Prime Time. The JETS Pats week 13 game was was the most watched game of the year as well. JETS=GOLD!
Scott Dierking
Scott stop being so picky and let us Jets fan enjoy the moment- faba, it is not picky. What matters for the industry is ratings, or shares. Most of the games this weekend broke "viewing" records (the population is growing). The NFL PR machine will publicize "total viewers" but that is not the industry measure.
