BillyC
There are many Saints' fans that would love Herm Edwards to be the coach of the Saints. They are speculating Herm might be fired. I haven't a clue on that. I'd just like to get everyone's opinion on Herm's coaching ability. What do you think Jets fans? Thanks!!

I think you may have just popped open a big 'ole can of beans, Billy. St. Herman is not very well loved around these parts, I'm afraid.
RSJ
Herm is a terrible coach. His clock management, judgement of talent and knowledge of X's and O's are all horrible. Do yourself a favor and keep Haslet.

Maxman
Herm is a players coach. He gets the most out of his talent. He will do well if his GM isn't named Bradway. He needs to improve clock management. He needs strong coordinators. You would do well to have Herm as your coach. Almost every year he had his team competitive. He will be back though. faba
Herm Edwards personality has won him friends in the media and good publicity around the league as evidenced by opposing fans posting here. But look at the comments from our division rival fans that see him more closely to get the true ability of Herm from an outside perspective
4HCrew
I wish I had the time to vent of all my complaints with Herm. Bottom line the Jets will not win a super bowl under the tutelage of Coach Herman Edwards. But if you would like to bring him to New Orleans, for $17,000 he can speak to you for a day. joewilly
I like Herm, not a good clock guy or even a gameday decisionmaker of any sort. good in a lot of other areas though. smarter posters than me hate him here. the denver fumble vs dallas inside their own 10 deserved a red flag & shannahan didn't throw one. Herm would have been crucified here whether he threw a flag or not. needs a good supporting cast but I don't think he's a lousy coach

I use to belived the same thing. But the Jets are not coming to play this year which I thought was his only strong point. He sucks at clock management, X's & O's, making timely adjustments. How long will a strong coordinator stay, with Herm getting the credit? Not long, which will lead to a very unstable organization.
