Ex-Rex
I want to start seeing guys retire as Jets when they start their career here. I would keep Harris, at a reduced rate of course. If he goes to Buffalo that would be HIS choice. Otherwise prepare a Jet-friendly contract and let him finish as a Jet.

Keeping anybody because you want him to retire as a Jet and overpay him it's a terrible decision. If you can get him at a value you place on him so be it, but you should never make a decision based upon an emotional attachment.
Smashmouth
Does "compete" mean going 9-7? Because "competing" to the Jets and "competing" to the Patriots are two very different things. I want to compete for the Super Bowl, and you're on crack if you think this team will be ready to do that next year. Im not on crack and I made no mention of a SB
Jack Straw
Im not on crack and I made no mention of a SB Then what does competing mean? Going 9-7? I can only assume you mean competing for a Super Bowl, right?
Rexorcism
Ok we have to make a decision at what price would you want him back? Or you do not want him back? At the right price, we need him back, had a good year again last year.
