We contacted Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors and they are supplying us with the fresh patties for this season. For those of you who haven't heard of them, LaFrieda is the top butcher in NYC, where all the top chefs get their meat. Their signature ground beef blends are the base for all of the great burgers in NYC, including Shake Shack, Minetta Tavern, etc. We are getting a chuck/shortrib/brisket blend for them. With such great patties, we decided to create our first signature burger which we will serve all season, the TGJ Lot Burger, with our own cheddar sauce, quick caramelized onions, and a fresh Royal Crown Bakery bun.
