faba
Watched a number of West Virgina games since they were in Big East -Austin always impressed me with his multiple uses and quickness to make plays-Geno Smith not so much-
Kleckineau
Nerp. Can't hit what you can't see. Tavon Austin has never been tackled, and he never will be. He's the best pick for us and will ignite an offense sorely lacking playmakers. Cart before horse. Let me know when they have a genuine QB then we can talk about drafting a flea like Austin because they are still a 6 win team with him.

We can't pause the development of the roster, waiting for an elite QB to come our way. We need to put ourselves in the best position to win football games, with or without elite positional play under center. Right now, we are implementing an offense that requires short to medium throws in timing based patterns. We have the QB talent to make those throws. We need guys who can take a 3-yard slant, twelve yards down the field. and 9-yard out patterns, to the endzone. "fleas" like Austin are exactly what we need to get over the hump... as they enable us to score on any given play.

Idzik seems to be smarter than that.

Inexpensive, high-upside players signed in free agency? Doesn't it reason to figure we will add high-upside players through the draft?
