Schaub sets record for consecutive games with a pick-6. Kubiak not benching him.

Speaking late Sunday night, coach Gary Kubiak said he's sticking with Matt Schaub as his starter.

Schaub set an NFL record in the Week 5 loss to the Niners, throwing a pick-six for the fourth consecutive game. He now has at least one interception in each game this year (nine on the season), the Texans have dropped three straight games and he was mercifully removed in favor of T.J. Yates in the fourth quarter Sunday night. The key for Schaub will be to return to his preferred game manager role, using the run game to set up easy play-action passes. Don't be surprised if he gets back on track in a Week 6 home game against the lowly Rams.

Following Sunday's Week 5 loss to the Chiefs, Titans OC Dowell Loggains had sharp criticism for Kenny Britt.

Working as the No. 3 wideout, Britt had one catch for nine yards. "We're gonna have to reassess everything at this point. We'll evaluate after we watch the tape," Loggains said. "Obviously, I'm not gonna hide anything. He had probably three drops in the game." Loggains was asked if Britt's potential is starting to dry up. "Potential just means you haven't done anything," he responded. Britt is on thin ice in Tennessee and is certainly a trade candidate ahead of the Oct. 29 deadline. It sounds like the Titans will take whatever they can get.

Meanwhile, this isn't exactly news with Britt and they've still been trotting him out there.

Coach Gus Bradley insisted after Sunday's Week 5 loss Blaine Gabbert remains the Jaguars' starting quarterback when healthy.

Gabbert exited with a third-quarter left hamstring injury and didn't return. Against the Rams, Gabbert threw two interceptions, including a pick-six, and fumbled twice while trying to run around the pocket. "We just have to continue to train," said a glass-half-full Bradley. "The challenge is for our guys to play with some freedom." Fantasy owners would rather not see Gabbert play at all.

Don't be silly, these teams all have their reasons.  It's just the Jets that have no accountability, everyone knows that.

Although the real question is, how long before someone comes into this thread, ignores the Texans and Titans situations and goes "YEAH, CUZ THE JEST SHOULD BE LIKE THE JAGUARS... DERP"
