The Denver Broncos will not have their presumptive starting quarterback in the huddle when OTAs open next week.

The team announced Monday thatMark Sanchez underwent surgery over the weekend to repair a torn ligament in the thumb on his non-throwing hand. The injury is likely to keep Sanchez out the start of organized team activities, but he should return in early June.

Sanchez suffered the injury during a weight room session last week.

With the eight-year pro sidelined, first-round pick Paxton Lynch and second-year quarterback Trevor Siemian will get all the snaps to start OTAs. Getting Lynch even more reps than expected, even early in workouts, could help propel his development.

Sanchez's injury, while not reportedly serious, will pump more energy in the Lynch-to-start campaign that is likely to build in Denver as we approach the preseason.

Good try. Elway knows who Fitz is n he's not going to pay him Brady money. If anything, this is a loss loss situation for the Jets. If Elway does sign Fitz, media will take a dump on is n praise that cheater (Elway). If Elway doesn't sign him m we do, we still get sh*t on because Elways didn't sign him even when Sancjez was out. So yeah, **** Fitz.

Highly doubt that will end the nonsense here.

Our nonsense is tumbling down the mountain headed for the cliff with the quaint village below.

Is there even any doubt?

The only way we could possibly end up on top in this scenario is if we sign him back for the same or less than Elway offered. But even that will be forgotten & buried after 2015 doesn't repeat itself, and it will revert back to Elway being smart for not signing Fitzpatrick and letting him go to the Jets.
