Not overly disappointed by this. They've released a bunch of piss poor albums over the last couple of decades, while still pretty good live.

 

And it means Holt can go back to concentrating on Exodus.

Four decades is an eternity in metal years. I'll give them credit for staying badasses for so long, and never really compromising their music or changing their image in that time.

Repenltess, Christ Illusion, World Painted Blood, and God Hates Us All have little replay value for me. I can listen to pretty much anything before that.

I liked Exodus better anyways

Saw Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax and Megadeth back in ‘93.

One of the best shows I’ve seen.

I remember it was some kind of “Monsters of Thrash” tour or something.

It was right around the time Metallica was REALLY blowing up and wouldn’t tour with them so Pantera took their place. It was also around the time that Metallica quit drinking, cut their hair and subsequently turned into a bunch of festering vaginas so I guess it was for the best.
