A Historically Easy Schedule Has Aided the Patriots 6-0 Start

Seems like every year they have a cake schedule

Every other team in the division plays a perennial Superbowl contender at least twice each year.  Put those teams in another division and maybe they split or take a pair.  The Pat's strength of schedule is poor because every team on the schedule is probably going to lose that game.  The AFC East teams are probably going to lose two.  It's not like the NFL scheduled the worst teams to play the Pats.  It's not like the schedule is random.  There are rules and the rules dictate that the best team in the NFL will play all their games against lesser teams.  Get over it.

It helps that 6 games are against the rest of the AFC East.  The Jets, Dolphns and Bills are the cake.

The Jets suck and the Dolphins suck, but the only team that has beaten the Bills is the team that won the championship a few months ago.

Shaky start with your math there.  If you start with .217, beating the .400/.333 (before/after) Giants won't LOWER it from .217...

Yes, it does.

You add a LOSS to the overall count STATS and the overall percentage must go down.

But those figures are a somewhat off.

Here are the figures before game six:

Patriot opponents won 7 out of 28 games, or 25% (.250)

Here are the figures after the game:

Patriot opponents won 7 out of 29 games, or 24.1% (.241).
