Protecting Patrick Mahomes is key, and he will do that. Grade: A Spending $80M on Joe Thuney got the Chiefs an A grade when they already have a smart, mobile, experienced QB behind their OLine and aren't trying to develop the QB? But this would have been a bad signing for the Jets in order to keep their current/future QB from getting his brain or body scrambled in a new system while NOT having guys like Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill to throw to?
