Popular Post Paradis
I'd signed out of JN on every device, and was happy to hang 'em up after that steaming pile of pig-death yesterday. Did not expect Rob to hang a lantern on it today... I realize this is probably redundant (other threads) but today was the layup for the classic "Jets will plod forward into bullsh*t" that I've come to know and expect... Instead, what needed to be said, was said. Cheering for a struggling team is tough.... but being frustrated with a situation like Zach's (who so clearly needs to sit and try to reset) only to be thwarted by draft-politics - is a deeper level rabid distrust. Elated the story isn't predictably pathetic this go 'round
carlito1171
Yea I thought he (and JD for that matter) was willing to sink with the ship. Refreshing to know that they'll pull him if its painfully obvious moving forward. We don't have many options at QB on this roster, but at this point the kid needs consequences for poor play and costing us wins. This has grown to be more than a "Let's see what Zach is made of" type of season. We're in the middle of the playoff hunt in late November going into December....
Popular Post Darnold's Forehead
Saleh/JD have been refreshing in this sense so far. They do not hold onto players simply due to draft position/age/previous relationships. Saleh hasn't been afraid to play young players over veterans... Hasn't been afraid to make changes in the secondary (Sauce over incumbent Hall). Immediately gave Hall RB1 once he started to flash, got Mims back involved, admitted his mistake starting Sherwood and Nasildeen last year, etc. A far cry from Gase running Frank Gore into the ground the year prior.

Exactly. If we’re being honest, no one gets it all right the first go around. Practice is the single best determinant of long term success. So if you’re open of change and learn from your previous efforts, there’s reason to be optimistic that the bumps along the way made a difference
