We are going to consolidate a few of the sub-forums (tickets and tailgates, that kind of thing). Just to make it easier to navigate. I want to test out Live Events soon. That is the live video chat option in a thread. I have been really backed up and wanted to do it already but haven't had a chance. We can do poster debates, round tables and things like that. I think it will be cool for some special events. More info coming soon. On the side of things that nobody wants to talk about, unfortunately, I have to change advertising networks. We have been with Snack Media for a few years, and they have been great. Smooth sailing, no problems, high-quality ads, and the payouts were good. The site has been profitable with them, so it was good all around. After the recent upgrade to the Invision (forums) cloud, we have added about another $200 per month in expenses. We had to move to the cloud to be able to scale. On the old model, we were on a single server, and we were able to handle thousands of people at a time with no problem. A single server has its limits, and I think we are about to hit them. The traffic here is at an all-time high, so we had to upgrade to keep things running on game day. That is a long way of saying the new ad network is going to be reconfiguring things. We have always put the user experience first, but right now, the site has been negative for the last few months. I think it is an easy fix, and the new ad company should work out well. BUT, you might see more ads than you currently do now.I know people complain when that happens, so please know this is something we take seriously. If the ads don't bother you, thank you. We will work to make them blend in as much as possible. To those that are annoyed by ads, please remember that we did add an Ad-Free Option. This is great, but last time we had a thread along those lines Google basically delisted us. Took years to recover. I have the theme designer looking at it hopefully today. A lot of times when you get feedback it's like ah I don't really see it but we'll look at it.
