Not for another month & a half — they extended it this season.

This year it’s after all the week 9 games are over (Nov 5th).

That should be good for the Jets if they start winning.🤞It should give them an option to maybe get a decent option from a team that's out of the run.

Yeah hope so. This mess with Reddick doesn’t seem to have an end in sight. Maybe after they’re 0-4 after our game, Denver trades JFM back to us lol.

Baltimore’s 0-2 and the next three straight matchups coming up could all be tough. They don’t really need two TEs, do they? Or moreover, will they still need them in a month if they’re 1-6?

Enjoyable as it’d be, the wins don’t need to be pretty (like Sunday), but we do need to win to make October trades worthwhile.

Best option right now as crazy as it may be, is that the Eagles and Jets trade with each other Reddick for Huff. Not ideal, but it is the best option understanding that Reddick asked for a trade a long time ago. He has not played or practiced. You have to account realistically with the Jets "luck" and chances are that if Reddick ever puts on a Jets uniform, he will get injured the moment he is tying his shoes. On other Huff, the Jets know exactly how to use Huff and get the most out of him.

It'd be hilarious, but that just wouldn't happen.

either ravens or bengals going to be 0-3 after this week.   really helps us in terms of wild cards.

assuming we play ok and tua misses significant time it feels like the 3 wild card spots are going to be a dogfight between

the jets, chargers, afc north.  having the ravens/bengals a few games behind this soon is good for us.

Would be nice. Jets will have to win their games, too. Early season jitters, ok fine, especially with a QB who hasn't played since the '22 season, plus DL and OLs that look pretty different than last year. But that excuse for sloppy play & off-timing runs thin after the first 1-2 weeks of the season.

They wouldn't have gotten extra bonuses in the standings for convincing wins vs. skin of their teeth ones, or a barely-lost game vs. a week 1 blowout, but all the same hopefully they start looking sharper starting Thursday night.

yah, i said that upfront, they have to play well.

they have both games against miami last 5 weeks of the season.  if Tua is back going to be tough.

i think 10 wins gets us a wildcard.
