Brenjetsfan
<A target=_blank name=327870>Titans | Battle brewing between Mawae and Haynesworth Sun, 30 Jul 2006 19:14:52 -0700 Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports there is a battle brewing between Tennessee Titans OC Kevin Mawae and DT Albert Haynesworth. During the first practice in full pads, Sunday, July 30, Mawae and Haynesworth exchanged words during drills. They challenged one another, and at one point Haynesworth went out of his way to offer some words of advice to general manager Floyd Reese. Basically it was "Get Mawae off the field before I hurt him." Do you guys think this is just a healthy training camp scuffle between 2 competetive individuals.... or is there something more to this feud that may deal with leadership, and personality conflicts within the lockerroom? Is this a good thing? THATS my man....GO Kev
Alk
Imagine that, now Mawae is cheapshotting his own teammates.
Smizzy
I doubt it a good thing. Anytime a fellow teammate wants to "hurt" you,it's not good.
NJ
Bren, Do you think Kevin SAID something to irritate Haynesworth??
joewilly
not sure bren?.......... know this though. Offering oral to kevin to help relieve tension will not help his plight with haynesworth...... so only offer it to satisfy your own indulgence:) :)
SeniorFlaJet
I got the real story from a mole in camp. Its seem that the coach told the offensive team that they were to run 12 plays. After they ran the 12 plays, he said they had to run 5 more. At this point Mawae called time and took out and pen and paper and was going to fire off a complaint to the union about excessive practices. Haynesworth called him a pussy and thats when all hell broke loose.
