Pragmatic Bus
Is it just me or these old farts really have some kind of bias against the AFC players. who no matter what they do can't get into the HOF. i'm really pissed at the HOF voters. they need to kick all of them out and put in some fresh faces in that joint

Jetlag
Who are all of these AFC players who are being snubbed? Also remember, the NFC dominated in the 80's and 90's so that could be another reason.

The Troll
Art doesn't belong. At the time of his retirement, he was the league's all-time leading receiver. He also won 3 Super Bowl rings. Monk should not be penalized for the passing explosion of the 1990's.

Monk should not be penalized for the passing explosion of the 1990's. he's not being penalized for the passing explosion of the 90s he's being failry treated based on his 3s against his peers. it's great that he could stay healthy long enough to compile some overall good #s but the facts are he wasn't a great player. In 16 seasons(15 full): -he was top 10 in recs just 4 times, top 5 just 3 times -He was top 10 in rec yards just 3 times, top 5 just2. -he was top 10 in rec Tds just once(finished 9th). He is being compared to his peers and he omes up shor against them.

The AFL players get shafted. Gino Cappelletti from the Pats was not only a WR & DB he was also the kicker. He set numerous AFL records but the "Pro (I mean NFL) Football Hall of Fame" farks him over.
