You have the NE D-Line ranked 3rd in the division? I was thinking it was the best in the league. I'm sure the Jets and Fins are flattered though.

NE yielded 3.9 yds per carry last year, Miami 3.5. It all starts with the push up front. Not to mention, Jason Taylor being in the Top 3 in sacks.

A lot of these presumptions are just that..guesses. Who knows what the new additions will do this coming year? The Jets did focus heavily on providing the front 7 with plenty of depth and rotation players.

Best D-line in the league? Panthers. The Falcons are pretty good as well.

NE has a much better D Line than any other team in the division and it's not close.

You gotta take the pats Dline over theirs. Seymour is their oldest lineman.

Hey I never said I was right..that's why I wanted others to contribute. I think Wilfork is what makes that line tick..

I'd love to know how exactly the dolphins offense is better than ours. And I dont even think we'll have a top 12 offense. I'm just sayin'.

That's a good point. Neither team has top-notch QB's and the Jets have superior RB's when you combine Jones and Washington. The Jets also have better WR's with Coles, Cotchery, Brad Smith, and even J-Mac while the Phins have the overrated Chambers, Marty Booker, and Ted Bust Ginn. The Jets OL does not look like it will be great but the Phins don't look to promising in that area either.

And when you include our coaching it doesn't seem like much of a contest.

the ranking was based on explosive plays...the point was that Green can get the ball down the field to Chambers and Ginn and Chad is not capable throwing down field

If that was a shot at Barton's hate fest towards Chad then POTW nom.

The combination of Jones & Washington beats out Maroney & Morris.

WR:

Yes, Buffalo has Lee Evans but no real #2. Miami has Chris Chambers & Marty Booker.

These suggest that Taylor is playing the 34 OLB role in Miami's defense, not a 43 DE, or else Miami would be 3.

I also made these rankings based on the STARTERS, not the overall depth at the position. If that was the ranking you wanted, post it and I'll have a much different look at most positions. For instance, the Jets would jump to #2 at QB if you're including Clemens because, well, Buffalo and Miami's back-up QB's speak for themselves.
