Smizzy Posted July 27, 2007 Share Posted July 27, 2007 | Kendall may not show for camp Thu, 26 Jul 2007 17:01:53 -0700 Karen Crouse, of the New York Times, reports New York Jets OG Pete Kendall does not know if he will show up for the start of training camp because he is looking for a new contract. He is due to make $1.7 million in 2007 after averaging $3 million per season in the previous three years. He is looking to have the four-year deal he signed a year ago restructured so he will make $2.7 million this season. He met with team officials earlier in the offseason and was given the impression they would take care of him. There is speculation he's pushing for a raise to prompt his release. You suck pete. Or maybe on wad of dollars on a string, that they drag behind a car. That way he can get some excercise on the way. Seriously... let him rot. Don't reward him by cutting him or giving him a new contract. Just let him waste one of his last few good years sitting in his living room.
