A delay of game by dropping the ball out of frustration of not getting in, calling that as a penalty was more of a delay of game than just picking up the ball and spotting it.

They do need to look at that ans instruct the officials better on what to call and what not to, excessive celebrations, IE: Santana Moss spinning the ball after every catch is one.

It reminded me of the bul**** calls we got last year for sacking the qaurterback too rough etc......

BUT, it's much better if rules are OBJECTIVE and not SUBJECTIVE.... so I'm all for "do it and you get a penalty, regardless of HOW you did it"

Agreed. I don't think that was the intent of the new rule and it wound up costing us a TD.
