Both nandrolone and testosterone were on MLB's banned list at the time, though there was no designated punishment for using either. Glaus was dealing with major shoulder problems while with the Angels in 2003 and 2004 and may have only been cheating then in an attempt to rehab. Still, there's no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt.
