Alk Posted September 13, 2007 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Does anyone here think the Huskers have half a chance of knocking off USC? As a diehard Husker fan I find it highly unlikely. Granted I haven't seen USC play yet but just looking at the Huskers' offense it is highly erratic. Keller doesn't look comfortable at all with the west coast offense and I'm not entirely sure he is suited for it in the first place. He's more of a gunslinger that would rather launch the ball down the field every other play. Their only shot is if they can make it a shootout and go toe to toe with them because quite frankly I can't see this defense stopping an offense like USC. JetCane Posted September 13, 2007 Share Posted September 13, 2007 They have a chance of covering what is a surprisingly low point spread IF their D plays a monster game- at home, in a national TV, night game. vegas is either showing respect for NU by making the spread 10, or is giving SC bettors a golden opportunity to make money.
