JetNation
Trent Edwards got veteran tight end Robert Royal's attention -- and respect -- the minute the rookie Buffalo Bills quarterback stepped into the huddle during practice Wednesday. More... Alk
He cant be any worse than Losman unfortunately... Considering it was his first NFL game, I was pretty surprised with him. He made some very good throws considering the pressure he was under.
Matt39
As much as I get on Chad for his limitations, at least we dont need to hear the ridiculous Losman > Pennington arguments anymore.
NIGHT STALKER
No excuses for Edwards, he'll have plenty of time to throw the ball.
SweetLee83
I'm very excited to see Trent play with a week of practice and reps as the #1 guy. I think hes going to be something special.
drago
i don't like playing a rookie with nothing to lose. He's going to look like kellen against the ravens, slow start, big finish. Not to mention FF, but i gave Evans the start since i have a strong feeling trent is going to lean on him like a crutch and just launch the ball over the top. I hope Revis eats his wheaties. Earthquake Enyart
Edwards at least looks like he has a clue and knows where all his receivers are. JP locked on one and when he was covered, he never knew wtf to do. It's obvious that the OC has told him not to run so he just mulls around back there until the inevitable sack. JP has a million dollar arm and a ten cent brain.

A week of practice doesn't make a QB. He will probably play pretty badly, it is just a matter if the running game and defense can bail him out. LionelRichie
i see the offense going something like this..... run, run, short throw in front of barret for 1st down run, run, throw short in front of barret for 1st down run, run, throw short in front of barret for 1st down
SweetLee83
A week of practice doesn't make a QB. I understand that. I'm just saying, that is much more than he got last week when JP was hurt on the first play of the game, and then Trent was thrown to the wolves in their den with no first team reps or anything. He should be a bit more comfortable, especially at home, than last week. I'm not saying hes going to tear **** up sunday or the rest of the season, but I think that if hes our guy, going into next season, he could be something special.
