Blackout
.332, 20 hr, 65 RBI, 54 R, 9 SB say he continues to put up these numbers for the rest of the year, could he win MVP even though the yankees probably wont make the playoffs?
GimmeShelter
He won on a last place team in Texas I believe. Why not the same this year if his numbers are that much ahead of the field?
Jet/BosoxFan
if the Yankees miss the playoffs, its a given that A-Rod will be the MVP. The worse the Yankees do, the better A-hole will do, BET THE BANK ON THAT! Thats been his MO for years. If the Yanks slip to 4th place, the triple crown has A-Rod's name written all over it. Just how valuable to the team are you if your team doesn't make the playoffs!!? By still allowing your sh*thole of a team to finish with a respectable record. That's how. MasonJet
That's a non-issue because the Yankees will make the playoffs. 5.5 games behind the Red Sox with 3 months left? That's so easy I need not explain. The Yankees will once again win the division running away. The Orioles are fading as expected, and the Sox are going to fade as well? Why? Because they're the Sox. After the ASB, the Yankees are going to tear it up. And they're going to go into it red hot as well.
