faba
I would not make that trade and give up Halladay and Abreu Halladay will win 15-20 games this year and Abreu I see many times with the the Phillies is a good steady hitter with some power and will hit for average

haggis
The second trade is garbage, IMO. The first I am thinking about, though. But I'd need Wood to back strong off the DL to help make up the loss.

GimmeShelter
Do neither SJ. Halladay is back among the top 5 SP in the game. Abreu plays in a play pen HR wise. Is there any league that you are not leading? If Billy Hall qualifies at 2B.....walk away from these offers.

I'm in the playoff hunt with my keeper league, romping the JN league, leading the RedSoxNation.net roto league, leading my money league but getting killed in a league i run with a bunch of UK guys who know nothing about baseball The Soriano straight up intrigues me only in that over use of Halladay could see him shutdown like lastyear. PFSIKH
It has to add up. Is: Soriano + New Starter < or > the loss of Halladay + current 2B starter On the surface it looks like you come out behind on the first trade.

You get a guy who can go CG and you're laughing. Halladay is one of those games. I just need to hope that Bill Hall and Junior Spivey can just keep producing +ve numbers. Barton
Soriano almost always cools down in the 2nd half of the season. Thats what he always did as a Yankee. You might want to go to his espn profile, and "split" stats to find how his career BA after the ASG, its not great I would guess.
