The announcement was made by Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum. Trusnik (6'4", 250), who signed with the Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Ohio Northern on May 12, was waived Sept. 1, signed to the practice squad Sept. 3 and signed to the active roster Nov. 16. The Macedonia, Ohio, native was active for six games, recording six special teams tackles.
