Alk
Why is he smiling? Unless he pulls his head out of his a$$ he's collecting guvment cheese after next season.
The Troll
Jets fans everywhere should be smiling. Eric Mangini doesn't get to smile. Not until he cleans this mess up.

pjam76
Jets fans might be smiling. Mangini might be happy the Pats lost. But any coach that goes 4-12 in season two should not be smiling.
DaBrick Wall
F EM He is a cheatah as well Fire the rat Yeah, he should've definitely let the Pats keep cheating. Oh and if he said anything to the league while with the Pats, he wouldn't have been out of a job. Great logic.

Sperm Edwards
Well it does help the Jets. We were going to have a tough enough time attracting FA"s as it is after going 4-12. Being in the same division as the 19-0 SB champs would not have helped matters.
DaBrick Wall
He cheated as well in NE F him who wants anyone associated with Mumbles a lowlife piece of scum That's the point. If he said anything he would've been out of a job faster than you can say "Spygate." And his career likely would've been over.

If things get real ugly and the useless Politicians get really involved, who is to say BB doesn't go dirty. Plenty of rats exist and who is to say he doesn't rat out all those involved and half his former staff gets busted. BB might be the big kahuna, but if he rats out Weiss, Mangini, Romeo, and a ton of other assistants, who isn't to say BB gets some sweet crappy deal while all those other coaches get nailed. It seems the NFL is already in bed with BB and the Pats as it is, I wouldn't put it past them to sell out everybody else that was involved. No. The NFL will do everything to prevent that from happening. Right now the Patsies are the only team that got busted, and the NFL is going to do its best to keep only the Pats involved. They really cannot afford an investigation that reveals half of the CS in the entire NFL cheated at one pt or another, which is how they got their jobs in the 1st place. The useless politicians dont care enough to push the NFL that far.

You are probably right, but for whatever reason, it seems the Pats and BB are in bed with the NFL and Politicians love big splashes more than anything else. 4 or 5 names are a lot better than just 1. And maybe the NFL did know and how would the NFL protect itself? By having BB rat out all those involved. Maybe BB retires, but maybe a lot of other former Pats coaches get nailed. And maybe it won't be some big public debacle, but a few coaches being forced to resign or get fired on the down low after next season could be a result of it. I mean unless the Jets or Browns or whomever wins a super bowl or gets close to one, the excuse could just be, not good enough. I doubt that will happen, but when people are facing the government, a lot of people wind up ratting everybody out, including the big bad NFL.
