Blackout
i'd say defensively albert is much better, base running wise he's much better and offensively it's a draw IMO
Sharrow
I have a feeling that Pujols is going to have a monster season this year.
Mavrik
Right this moment, I would take Ryan Howard. Albert Pujols is one arrant HBP away from having major reconstructive elbow surgery.
Scott Dierking
I voted Fielder. He is the youngest and has the most upside. Don't forget though, Lee is a Gold Glove quality First baseman (the rest of these guys are pretty wretched), and if Lee can get to his 30 homerun platform again, he may take it as best overall. uart
I voted Fielder. He is the youngest and has the most upside. I voted Fielder as well. 7 stolen bases in 2006... I'd like to see Ryan Howard do THAT.

Kidhuman
Tough coices SD. I might have to take Santana if he is available.
The Troll
Before yesterday, I would have said Pujols, as much as I hate him. But with the serious injury risk, I'd have to go with Ryan Howard.

TaborJet
I voted for Big Papi. Being a Yankee fan, I don't care if he plays 1st base. Let him DH. The 2-3-4 in the lineup would be: Jeter Ortiz ARod Yeah, I could live with that.

TaborJet
But you could have Jeter Howard Arod And a guy who is as big a threat and can play 1B better than Ortiz. I would like to see Duncan develop at 1st. IMO, Duncan + Ortiz > Howard.
Kidhuman
I wouldnt mind seeing Duncan at 1st myself. Duncan and Howard > Ortiz It can work both ways when you have numbers games Andy Phillips and Howard(DH) > Ortiz
