faba
Every new stadium gets the All Star Game so no surprise here- the question is will Citibank be a public co in 2013?
Bob
That's cool, but I can see other cities grumbling about it being in New York twice in five years.
The Gun Of Bavaria
1st of all, that's BS that NYC has it twice in 5 years.... What's even greater BS, is that taxpayer dollars are going to be used to name a farking baseball field.....especially for a place with a team as bad as the Mets. Therein lies one (of many) problem(s) with the bailouts. You can't let Citibank out of this contract, because they haven't declared bankruptcy. They won't declare bankruptcy, because the government bailed them out. If the government doesn't bail them out, then they will be bankrupt.... So the question is: Can you deal with them being bankrupt? I can.
