Undoubtedly, in a weak hockey market, he wants to drum up attention and sell a few more tickets in the short run--that money goes in his pocket. Right now, Shane Doan will be his only player making more than him. Doan is the teams best player and an original Coyote, drafted by Winnepeg back in 1995.
