Lil Bit Special
http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5293186 EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants receiver Domenik Hixon is out for the year with a turf-related knee injury, the team announced on Wednesday. The new FieldTurf at the $1.6 billion New Meadowlands Stadium claimed Hixon, whose right foot got caught in the soft surface on a punt return during Tuesday's practice. Hixon had his knee checked by trainers and walked off under his own power. "This turf kind of snagged his foot," head coach Tom Coughlin said on Tuesday. "He didn't get it enough out of the turf. We'll hope it's not something serious." Ohm Youngmisuk covers the Giants for ESPNNewYork.com. Follow him on Twitter.
hoping4ASuperBowl
shouldn't be that big a loss for them, he sucks as a receiver.

Maxman
That is scary hopefully it is just a freak thing and not an issue with the turf.
faba
Now that really shows why players try to get as much as possible while they can right Revis?
Bleedin Green
I just got a text from ESPN that it's a torn ACL. Nice start for the new digs, huh?

Steveg
This might be a good time to trade David Clowney to the Giants. We'll probably cut him when Holmes comes back after game 4..

Vudu
shouldn't be that big a loss for them, he sucks as a receiver. He might suck as a receiver but he's their main punt returner. Now Coughlan is talking about using his best DB ( Ross) to return punts, which is a dumb ass idea seeing that he's coming off ankle and hammy injuries. Ross is only their best DB when Webster and Philips are hurt. Since Ross is always hurt that shouldn't matter. Hixon is also a very good kick returner. He's a home run threat as a WR and I thought he was coming on, but last year he declined. I'm not exactly sure why, but other guys really stepped up.
