He's got more physical talent than Cousins and more polished than Osweiler. Could be the 4th QB taken and it wouldn't be such a surprise... If someone like Cousins drops into the 3rd or later, I don't think that giving up on last year's 7th is a sufficiently prohibitive cost to keep us from sending McElroy to the PS. Ryan Lindley has all the physical tools and none of the brains to use those tools. I saw Lindley up close at Mobile and had high hopes for him: but he was terrible most of the time. as for Cousins they just signed that player his name is Drew Stanton.
