PFSIKH
Good move. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/story/_/id/8207299/milwaukee-brewers-ship-rhp-zack-greinke-los-angeles-angels I do not know if he could handle Boston or NY. Not that the Sox were serious about acquiring him.

SenorGato
Aaaand the bad trade deadline for the Cubs just got a little ray of sunshine. Thanks Angels for not being Texas, but for being in the same division as Texas. Hopefully this means the Cubs can has Martin Perez and Mike Olt. Thanks Angels for also not being Atlanta, so the door is still open to the Cubs hasing Randall Delgado. F'n...Tuesday can take it's time to come, but hopefully it ends well for the Cubs. You don't want them to throw in Profar too? If Perez and/or Olt are going anywhere in a deal for a SP, I highly doubt it will be for Ryan f***ing Dempster or Matt Garza. SenorGato
Ryan Dempster? No and I would never suggest that. OTOH for Garza that is not an overpay even with the mantle prospects get placed on once the Internet hears about them. Believe it or not, they have enough holes in their game where it's not crazy to expect that kind of price for the Rangers to get some 300 really strong innings from Garza over the next year and a half. Certainly Garza makes more sense than Josh Johnson (and his shoulder) for the Rangers, who finished second to the Cubs in chasing him before the 2011 season.
