Blackout
he probably could have taken his pick of teams. I cant imagine many teams wouldnt be interested in him the Giants need a tight end (unless they want to be stuck with Bear Pascoe)
Joe Jets fan
Thanks sperm for being the only one to address the compensation. I thought it was based on the round he was drafted and years in the league?? Does anyone have an answer?
jack48
Sure, the problem is that we know for sure the guy in charge of getting him and everyone else the ball definitely missed his assignments. That's the problem with evaluating the Jets' recent offensive skill guys...there's that huge "Sanchez sucks" factor. You've got a point. I have said enough bad things about Sanchez. Surprised I did not consider blaming him for the performances of others.

I think it's somewhat safe to say that QBs have some connection to their pass catcher's production.

Smashmouth
I always thought he was dumb. People would say he disappeared during games. I always thought he was one of those guys who missed his assignments. This !! along with being a pussy
slats
I liked Keller. It was always my feeling that the Jets needed another TE in addition to him. I had hopes for Cumberland about three years ago, not so much anymore. This is a position I could see the Jets targeting in the draft in hopes of landing a starter. Be interesting to see what the Aussie brings to the table this season, too.
