Slim WR pickings in FA market

Gordon was statistically a top 3 receiver in the NFL this season despite playing less games than Megatron and AJ Green, and having multiple sh**ty QB's under center.  Of course you make that trade if you're John Idzik.  Are you kidding me?

The Browns were looking for a 1st rounder for Gordon before he exploded.  So it's safe to say, once again, that they're not moving him.  He's an incredibly value weapon for whoever their QB is going to be in 2014.  The threat of a suspension does not significantly reduce his value enough for them to move him.

Would you give up a #1 & #3 for him? Tough call. Still under rookie deal for 2 more years. TE in the 2nd, S/OLB w/ two 4th rd picks?

He's a rare talent.... but teams are built through the draft

I don't see a WR falling to us at 18 that is better than Gordon.  He's 22 years-old and as you say, he's a rare talent.  He's a tremendous deep ball threat, and as bad as Geno was this year, at one point this season he was statistically one of the top 5 deep ball throwers in the NFL.  In fact, he ended the season at 6.9 YPA, tied with Tom Brady and ahead of Andrew Luck (6.7) and Joe Flacco (6.4).

But again, I don't see Gordon being moved, so the point is moot.

That's not even close to a tough call. Who are you drafting, space aliens? Nobody you draft will come even close to him. He was the best receiver in football this year and is 22 years old. Tell me which one of these you would take over Chris Ivory:
