They have had the readymade red meat fed to them for so long that they have forgotten how to hunt. So now they are reduced to pathetic beings who have to create stories out of thin air even with a team that has personnel issue dues to injuries and a five game losing streak. If the jets lose this next one then everyone is going to tune out the jets until next year...these beat writers may start to get desperate as it may mean some of their jobs on the line too...not just Rex! Nah This isn't the first time the Jets have been in this situation, no beat writers have lost their jobs. People may not go to the games, but they'll still flip to the sports page. If nothing else the Giant fans who seldom read Jets news will read it to get a few laughs in their misery. Viewership will go up the more savage the articles are.
