Harris should be a Jet for life. His play has downgraded severely & his lack of speed is an immense liability but he has always been a model & modest player who stepped up BIG (2010 2nd round playoffs) when necessary.

His presence in the lockerroom is where the Jets can't afford to lose him. A first class vet. I hope he gives the Jets a discount or at least the opportunity to match if he gets a reasonable offer. The Jets should not overpay for his decreased services. Llet #52 see what else is out there and see if it can work for us.

We'll most likely part ways with Harris, it's a shame to lose such a classy team-drafted veteran.

His play has severely downgraded but he should be a Jet for life? That's half the problem with this team. Rex and his guys have stunted the growth of many players and he is loyal to a fault. If you can't get the job done any longer and there is someone younger and cheaper who can, then here is your pink slip. Time to move on.
