Winning 6 is not a successful season. We won 8 games in 2013 with Rex, a rookie Geno and a disinterested Holmes.  If we don't win at least 8 I don't see why we spent all the money we did.

Glad to see some folks get it.  Thinking 10 wins isn't a reasonable expectation means you weren't paying much attention over the course of the past few years.

2013 was a 5-6 win team that was gifted 2-3 wins and blown out in every loss.  We went 6-10 in 2012 and 4-12 in 2014.  All 3 of those teams sucked.  At least if we go 8-8 this year, it will be a legitimate 8-8 season.  Progress, b*tches.

Which was a worse call? The pass to Davis or the Vinny T pass to Jumbo Elliot that Tuna called?

:Savage's eyes bulge, his heart races, his fingers feel as though they're aflame. Slowly, he brings a Pall Mall to his lips and sucks deeply on the filter. "Tuna..." he mumbles, his lips pursed, smoke escaping between them and getting hung up in the ragged hairs of his graying mustache. "Tuna."

And then he begins to type...:

hah thats actually a very nice read, you may have a future in lliterature?

You predicted that we'd have "at least 8 wins" at this point and a 10-6 overall record (from your other post)? I'd like to see those posts from before the season started

Saying they should have beaten some bad teams after a 4-1 start isn't really a prediction, is it?

Not sure if/when/where I posted the prediction but I did say during the round table at Florham Park that based on the off-season additions, counting the Jets out of the playoffs would be a foolish thing to do...and I personally believe if you're thinking playoffs, you gotta' be looking at minimum 10 wins.  I may have even said 10 wins.  I forget, it was a while ago.

I did not. I was just pointing out the negatives. :D

I like it. We're better for sure I agree with that. But I was just playing with what I thought the article didn't spend much time on.

No biggie.
