The Jets, coming off two back to back AFC Championship games, were a team to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, the Giants went on to win and then went on to beat the Pats in the Super Bowl. Yet again, the mighty REX defense couldn't get a stop when needed. We also got CRUSHED by the Eagles at the end of that year. LIterally our D was non existent. The turning point was the week before where the so-called Top 3 Rex Ryan defense got blown out 45-19. Michael Vick being ridiculously effective leading 420 yards of offense. 3 TD's by LeSean McCoy. Eagles TE Celek catching 5 passes for 158 yards. August Posted December 24, 2016 Share Posted December 24, 2016 There were many games that season that you could say was the turning point. -Tebow game -Raiders game (McFadden running all over the Jets defense) -Ravens Sunday Night game -Cheaters game on Sunday Night where had we won we take over 1st place in the AFC East instead we deliver a SOJ performance -Eagles game -Giants game (Cruz 99 yard run) -Dolphins game week 17 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
