Being a rookie and a fat slob just makes it that much more difficult to pull off. When players dont buy into what you are doing performance suffers. It's harder to buy into a fat guy making you work physically harder than your peers on other teams because of the inherent hypocrisy. Imagine your boss forcing you to working 10 hrs of unpaid overtime a week and how much harder that would be to accept if he or she worked 20 hrs a week total versus if they worked 80. Same concept It would be interesting to see the record of fat slob HCs (who don't have an already-established sterling resume like BB, BP). Fat slob Rex did a lot better than skinnier Rex. Charlie Weis was sh*te in college. Romeo Crennel was sh*te in Cleveland. What other FS HCs can we think of?
Darnold Schwarzenegger
So are you saying that it wouldn't have mattered who was coaching Brady. That they would have inevitably won 5 super bowls solely because of Tom Brady. The coach has nothing to do with it? He was a 6th rounder. was he destined to be a football god or did great coaching help him become one of the best QBs ever. I honestly think if BB was the coach of the Packers the past 10 years Rodgers would easily have more than 1 ring. At least 3 Belicheck made matt Cassel look like a franchise QB. Jimmy g and Jacoby brissett also filled in wonderfully during Brady's suspension. Tom Brady is one of the 3 best QBs of all time. But I doubt he becomes this great without belicheck.
