Three tix to Steelers - Prime seats

Recommended Posts

3 tickets, Mid teens row, Lower prime on the 31 -32 yardline.

Face value = $170 per ticket.  Will sell for $150/ticket.

I will be putting them on StubHub at a higher price.  So here is your chance to NOT complain how opposing colors are in the stadium.  You can go at a fair price to see the team you all allegedly root for.

I'm betting that no one from this forum steps up, as usual, but many will surely flap their toothless gums the day after the game about Steelers fans in the stadium.

Well everyone here at JN had the opportunity to purchase at below face value  ($150 instead of $170).  No takers, as usual. Same old story on this site for the last million years.  Yet people here have the balls to complain about opposing fans in the seats.  Shove it.

The tickets to the 12/22 Steelers game just sold on Stub Hub for well over face.

I would have preferred a Jets fan bought it for the $20 under face per ticket that I had posted. (I'm assuming it was a Steelers fan who paid that for these tickets, because Jets fans never spend up).

And people wonder why Jets fans sell on StubHub or Ticketmaster.  Well there you go.

Capitalism over socialism.

Not quite. I was willing to let them go for $450. I paid $510. The post for under face value was here for nearly a month. I would have been just fine with that. No takers until some likely Steeler fan was willing to pay $816 + another $150 in StubHub fees for what would have cost a Jets fan here $450. So there was a bit of social welfare included in my offer to the board for under face value. It was downright charitable for a real Jets fan. ?

And how does that explain how no loyal Jets fans who visit this site wouldn't take the same tickets for $150 each?  Below the face value.  Check Stub hub in the Lower Prime sections for that game, all priced in the same $250 - $300 range well above the face value. In fact mine were priced cheaper than most for that game.  And they have been selling.  Steelers fan pay up.  Jets fans don't.  Jets fans are the cheapest sports fans on the face of the Earth. End of story.

I buy plenty of tickets thru out the year and don't bother with psl's bc almost all the games go below face value, in most cases well below.

Why would anyone  pay for preseason games when you can get those for pennies on the dollar. Why would anyone pay full price for 10 games is beyond me. It's simple economics.

I only buy on eBay because you avoid all the fees that stub hub charges. Jets fans don't pay up because unfortunately they don't put a quality product on the field year after year.  You get what you pay for and Jet psl's turned out to be fools gold.

So far this year the only game I payed a couple dollars over face was the Giant game. Giant tickets on the other hand is a whole different story.

It's more like smart. A lot of people don't want to pay hundreds of dollars and spend their whole Sunday on a sh*tty product. There's a lot of Steeler's fans in the surrounding areas and it's one of their only chances to see the team so of course they'll pay up.

I've been around Jets fans for over 50 years...  my whole life.....  and I've ben a season ticket holder since 1983.      From what I've witnessed through all that time is that the cheapest, most miserly, penny pinching fans on planet Earth are NY Jets fans.  JMO.  I call it like I see it.  Even when the Jets were decent, I had trouble selling tickets to games I couldn't attend.  Jets fans want it for nothing or next to nothing.  It's incredible.

Sounds like you should convert to giants season tickets if you want all your money back on games you can't attend....26 years later and you still haven't learned your lesson....dump the psl and buy then on the eBay and save thousands...instead of complaining about cheap jet fans you can be smart and save thousands like the late Poster said.

How could you even compare it to other teams? Have you been a STH of another team or tried to sell tickets for another team? You can’t compare because you have nothing to compare it to. I’m sure there’s some random Broncos fan out there saying the same about their teams fans.

You can’t even assume the person who bought your tickets was a Steelers fan, maybe it was a smart Jets fan who saw your price drop and snatched them up.

Just another disgruntled psl holder that is losing money off a poor investment.

When buying these PSLs people didn't realize that a stadium that holds over 80k will cause an excess of resale tickets driving the prices down especially with a subpar team.

If it would of been a stadium that held only 65k and the team made the playoffs every couple of years and won the super bowl every once a while you would of had PSL GOLD...

LOL.  I work on weeknights and can't go to most of the night games.  Those are the ones I sell usually.  Too bad Jets fans won't buy them here.  I've put them here under face value, sometimes HALF of face value.   No takers.  THey sell on TIcketMaster and StubHub very easily.  So is it just the Jets fans on this site that are cheap as hell or is it Jets fans everywhere?

Anyway, point is proven.  Jets fans are cheap as sh!t and never buy tickets even when they are discounted.  I'm away for the holidays this year. I offered the Steelers tickets here for under face value, and under half what anyone would pay on the secondary sites.  No takers.  In past years, I offered some games for HALF of face value.  No takers.  Only to sell at well over face  value elsewhere.  Res Ipsa.   And they are the very same ones who complain about opposing fans at the stadium.  Can't make it up.  It's actually very funny.

Hope you enjoy the game on Sunday.  Where do you sit?  I'll buy you a beer.  Should be a good one.

Forecast calls for rain in the 40s. I'll be cheap and watch it for free at home while slipping on my shaken martini and eating sushi. Stay dry!

Exactly what I’ll be doing. There’s no reason for me to spend a penny on this team right now especially when you have to go out of state to do it.

I have 4 Eagle SBL's(Season tix since 1972, dad) thats what they called them, I sold 2 SBL's in 2008 with the profit I bought  2 Jets PSL's (Season tix,  4 since 1972,dad). Eagles have paid me back 10 fold, Jets not so much. Stadium Builder Liscences, and Personal Seat Liscences are not an investment, they are a luxury.

If you got paid 10 fold from your eagles tickets and sold the psl for a profit I would call that an good investment. You got a return on your money whereas the jets psl is a bad investment because you get no return on your money.

I was looking for tickets @ Philly this year and the worse seats [not even a seat /standing room only] in the house was going for almost 200 a seat. Mind you that was vs a qb that shouldn't of been in the nfl.....Now that's is a PSL GOLD

I mostly count divisions, playoffs, conferences, and SB's as ROI, money is just that, money.

Oh sorry , if I wasn’t clear. I meant on Stubhub or another broker? Will seats in the coaches club section still be available, after kickoff?

Don't quote me on this but I think there is a time limit involved, I haven't had to get extra tix in quite some time.
