Jets on the clock first draft pick

It all depends on what we see from Darnold this year.  I still think he has all the potential in the world.  But it also depends on what is put on the table for the pick.  If we could land a top-4 pick along with an additional 1st this year, next year and some sweeteners, we would have an almost unprecedented load of draft picks to rebuild and a GM we have to believe can identify talent.  

In these two drafts, we could have as many as 5 1st rounders plus probably 3-4 more 2nd and 3rd rounders to restock the WR, LB and Edge positions.  So we could take Lawrence and have a few nice picks to work with, or we could get Chase, and 2 more 1st rounders to shore up the roster in a huge way, building off of what we hope is a great LT pick taken last year.  

There's clearly too much unknown to make a choice right now, but i'm leaning towards trading that pick for what should be a massive haul, as long as we can get high enough to grab Chase if he is as good as we expect him to be.
