Rob Gronkowski Projected to Sign With AFC Contender

like we need him back in the AFC East.

The future Hall of Famer is expected to have multiple suitors on the free agent market

CINCINNATI — Want to see Rob Gronkowski in a Bengals uniform next season?

The future Hall of Famer mentioned Cincinnati as a possible landing spot last month before Super Bowl LVI. Gronkowski likes the idea of catching passes from Joe Burrow, but another AFC team is expected to make a push for the four-time Super Bowl champion.

The Bills are hoping to sign Gronk this offseason. He is an upstate New York native and would add another element to Buffalo's passing attack.

CBS Sports is projecting Gronkowski to sign a one-year, $9.5 million contract with the Bills. That would give Josh Allen another weapon to throw to in their quest for a World Championship.

"We predict he will ink a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills to spend the final season of his career with his hometown team," Tyler Sullivan wrote. "Buffalo provides a storybook ending to his Hall of Fame career, fulfills a childhood dream, and Gronkowski can join a team that is ready to seriously contend for a Super Bowl with an MVP caliber quarterback. That type of situation is just too good to pass on."

Gronkowski had 55 receptions for 802 yards and six touchdowns last season. He's still one of the best tight ends in football when healthy.
