Popular Post jamesr
Odd one this weekend - Philly can clinch the #1 seed with a win AND improve their draft position into the bargain, as they own the Saints first rounder this year. It's quite weird how many teams don't have their own first round pick - and sucked at the same time. Of the 5 first rounders that have changed hands, 4 are in the top 11. 5

Jetsfan80
It’s almost like trading away 1st round picks is ill-advised in most situations. Giving up the opportunity to acquire a cheap, elite young talent to bring in a veteran player another team deems expendable can tend to lead to disastrous results. Looking at you, Pete Carroll. 1

While I mostly agree with the premise, Zach Wilson is punching us all in our collective faces. And Fidelio is enjoying it.
rangerous
Gives philly an extra incentive to play hard. NO is another of those teams that need a QBs.

And also consider the talent we brought in in the 2022 draft. Thanks Jamal!

JD picking Zach is looking like the exception rather than the rule, but typically the GMs who are constantly picking up high aren't around long enough to have many shots at it. And that needs to factor into the equation.
Beerfish
The jets made good use of their seattle picks but they actually got a bit unlucky last year as seattle won 4 out of the last 6 and their last two to have us picking 10th, for a fair bit of the season were were going to get like the 3rd or 4th pick. Can't complain because we still got Garrett Wilson but we were a bit unlucky.
