L.I.MikeBleedsGreen
Javon wants out ,no matter what it takes he said.your thoughts on this possible deal?
AFJF
You have to look at it from an NFL GM standpoint. If you get the opportunity to improve your team for what you consider to be a fair price, you make a move. I'd be fine with the Jets bringing in Walker. He's better than anybody else they'd get via the draft.
raffyD
Trade McCarens and our 3rd for Walker.
Shadetree
I wouldnt mind Javon Walker, but I think he'll be demanding more money than our current F.O. would want to spend on a cry baby WR with a blown out knee.
The Troll
I am not sold on Javon Walker. Brett Favre has made every receiver he's played with in his entire career look like a rose, from Robert Brooks to Antonio Freeman to Bill Schroeder to Donald Driver to Walker. No way he deserves a big contract after ONE good season with Brett Favre throwing him the ball, especially coming off a shredded knee.
124
Javon Walker has showed me one good season. That's not enough. Like Troll said, Favre has made a lot of Wide Recievers seem better then what they really are. I'm not sold on Walker but there's no question I wouldn't mind giving up one of our 4th round picks for the guy....by all means then, take the trade and put McCareins down to #4 behind Cotchery at 3 in the slot. PeterNorth09
Trade McCarens and our 3rd for Walker. I would do that. Even with the bum knee he is better than McCariens.
raffyD
I would do that. Even with the bum knee he is better than McCariens. After last year's showing I think I'm better than Mcariens.
Exit 117
Packers are going to demand too much for him. They'd probably want our second first round and then either our 3rd or 4th, or some other combination. Edit: Packers, not Falcons. All those days of JAbe trade talks threw me off.
