there is a good chance the Chargers are very successful over the next few year which would raise his profile and make him a real hot candidate by 2027. plus he knows how Woody is and maybe doesnt want to work for him.

Sounds like he may have been a better long-term solution for the Jets than current GM Joe Douglas (The GM who did an outstanding job of getting us a qualified QB Backup when Aaron Rodgers went down).
