Joe Alt to the Chargers?

Listen to Jim Harbaugh talk about his priorities

More realistically, the Vikings--->Chargers trade possibilities would be a perfect fit, especially with Slater already at LT. Trade back to 11/23 and pick up Fuaga/Latham for RT and Thomas, Mitchell, or Worthy to rebuild the receiver room

I think your more realistic scenario is pretty likely and makes a ton of sense given they need to build what was a top heavy roster and the need is at RT not LT.

Four QB’s top four is possible but less likely so I think QB4 goes at 5 and the Chargers move down. Might leave them in a tough spot if it goes QB-QB-QB-QB.

Also, incredible smokescreen if they want a WR.

Don't think they need to smokescreen, not with how close MHJ and Nabers are on most boards. Unless only 2 QBs go in the top 3, they're guaranteed to get one of the 2 WRs

It’s always better for other teams not to know what you want to do. Useful especially if they want one in particular or to move down and still get somebody.

This is an interesting question.  It's assumed that a team won't move a player from LT if he's a pro bowler at that position; or take the best LT in the draft and move him to RT.

However, Slater played RT in college and certainly has the build for it.

And by all accounts, Alt is the best LT to come out in the draft since Jesus played.  Given their roster, they could absolutely be a trade down candidate and get a highly rated RT (Latham, Mims, Fuaga, Guyton) and a WR to try to replace Allen and Williams.
