Joe D and agents agreed on the deal and Reddick shot it down. Reddick Killed Deal that Joe Douglas and Reps had in Place (jetnation.com) From Rap sheet's article. The deal was all but worked out with his former agents at CAA and Jets management, sources say. Reddick, who is on the hook for millions and millions in fines, had a contract offer that would have given him the opportunity to make up for the fines and make more money than he was originally scheduled to earn. If he didn’t want to play just for the Jets you the accept the offered deal because it was only for this season, it made up for the fines and he would be free to walk at the end of the season.
