YJF
The Jets allocated 8 players to NFL Europe and their regular season has come to an end. World Bowl XIV is this saturday and will air on The NFL Network at noon eastern. The Amsterdam Admirals play The Frankfurt Galaxy. Both teams have Jets players on them. Three of The Jets 8 allocated players seasons are over in QB Kliff Kingsbury, RB Terry Butler and WR Jovan Witherspoon. Kingsbury and Witherspoon played well the last few weeks. Kliff is not much of a deep thrower but he's very smart and accurate. There will be 5 Jets playing in the world bowl saturday when Frankurt plays Amsterdam. Here are The 5 players. Frankfurt Galaxy Center-Charles Missant Guard-Isaac Snell Cornerback-James Taylor Amsterdam Admirals Guard-Michael King Offensive Tackle-Marko Cavka Of these 5 guys, Michael King has been a consistent starter all season. In NFL Europe, all the players get a chance to play and get rotated in and out of the lineup. One of The Jets 4 offensive lineman in this game, could stick with The Jets as a reserve lineman in 2006. Isaac Snell has the most upside of the group and is a converted guard after being a college DT. Sound familiar. Brandon Moore took the same road. The most decorated of the bunch is Marko Cavka, whom The Jets had hoped in the past would be their top OT off the bench but he got hurt last year. King has alot of good physical talent and is very raw., He's very agile for a guard. Missant has played well enough to be considered for a reserve spot, if not with The Jets than with some other NFL team. Sometime during this week, The NFL is supposed to announce The All NFL Europe Team for 2006. It should be interesting to see if any Jets make that list. Instant Karma
I'm happy for James Taylor. It's been rough for him you know - he's seen fire AND he's seen rain...

Maxman
It will be interesting to see where Cavka fits in this season. He seems undersized but I wonder if he has bulked up at all. The thought of Cavka playing a lot last season because of the injuries...well that just shows how bad last season really was.

If you ever want to meet one of my close friends, you only have to ask instead of acting like you rode (still ride?) the "little" bus to school.
