NIGHT STALKER
Late Wednesday afternoon, Mike Tannenbaum walked down from his second floor office at Weeb Ewbank Hall and visited the press room. Before taking questions from reporters, Tannenbaum talked of three ways the Jets can still improve their roster.
Sperm Edwards
“Up through the first three regular season games, waiver claim is prioritized by your draft position,” he said. “We will have the fourth position and based on history - players like Jerald Sowell and Ray Lucas were waived at this time of year.” I thought we traded a 7th-rounder to GB for Sowell. Sperm Edwards
Well, it IS a business. If anything he should feel good that the Jets don't value any HB they can get their hands on over him. Suggs can play but with that knee condition they'd rather have Strait. Further, Crennel chose him - I doubt Mangini said "You can have Derrick Strait but our other 12 DB's are off-limits" to him.
